FADECO relocated its base from Nyakasimbi to Kayanga in 2000. It established a Rural Library, offering open access to agricultural and educational resources. In 2006, FADECO launched FADECO Community Radio (100.8 FM) and a telecenter, empowering the community with local broadcasts and internet access. This marked a turning point in rural communication.
