FADECO (Family Alliance for Development and Cooperation) began in 1993 as a Community-Based Organization (CBO) in Nyakasimbi village, Karagwe District. It was rooted in the belief that the family unit father, mother, and child is the cornerstone of sustainable development. By 1996, FADECO became officially registered as a local NGO, expanding its mission to uplift rural communities in northwestern Tanzania.
